Earlston Youth Catchment is a Volunteer led Organisation based in the Scottish Borders. We provide educational and recreational opportunities to young people aged 8 to 18 years who live in the villages of Oxton, Lauder, Earlston, Newstead, Melrose, Newtown St Boswells and St Boswells.
If you are interested in finding out more about the club nearest to where you live please use the contact us page or find us on facebook.
Earlston Youth Catchment area and the towns and villages which make up the area require volunteers to enable us to support young people in accessing educational and recreational opportunities. It does not have to be a long term commitment but maybe one session on yoga or joinery, maybe a couple of weeks on cookery or sports or maybe even longer as you are enjoying yourself so much, you want to come every week! All volunteers will receive training, invites along to social events as well as go through the PVG scheme record check. if you are interested and have some time to spare or would just like to find out a wee bit more, please get in contact with us through the details on the contact us page.
Beyond Earlston is the new name for Earlston Youth Catchment and we are looking to recruit new board members to be part of our exciting move forward.
We are ideally looking for two new members, and we would be interested in meeting people with experience in media and or rebranding or those with a funding or social enterprise background to see us through our next stage of our growth and development, but an interest in youth work and young people in the borders would also be of benefit.
The time commitment is one meeting every 6 weeks for two hours and we provide a full induction. Most of our meetings are held in Earlston but we are happy to travel round the Eildon Area
